Business Description
The Troy University Dothan Community Band is a volunteer band open to anyone who plays brass woodwind or percussion instruments. The band rehearses on Monday nights at Northside Methodist Academy from 6pm to 8pm.
A group of musicians of all ages and backgrounds who come together to enjoy making music together.
Rehearsals are on Monday evenings, from 6 to 8, in the Fine Arts building of Northside Methodist Academy. There are no auditions, nor is there a fee to participate, because Troy University at Dothan pays the rent, and parking in any "faculty" spot is permitted in the evening. It is expected that volunteers will have a fair proficiency on their instrument. Many high school players come to play with a more mature group, and college students home for the summer also come, to keep up their skills. Main point: all are welcome!
